He became the sixth player to hit 30+ doubles in 11 consecutive seasons and the first to do it since the start of his career. Since 1901 only 26 players have reached 11 seasons with 30+ doubles.

New York Mets and Philadelphia

Ten different players launched home runs in the same game to set a new record in MLB. A total of 11 home runs by both teams in a game tied the mark of the National League. It is the only time that the first 7 batters in one line-up (NYM) all hit longballs in one contest. The Mets belted 8 homers and 15 extra-base hits in the game, both are new franchise records.

They established a new franchise record by scoring the most runs (36) in a 3-game series versus the same team. The Jays are also the team leading the league this season in runs scored (670).

The switch-hitter launched a home run while batting from each side of the plate for the fourteenth time in his career, tying the current record established a month before in the Major Leagues.

Mike Fiers (Houston Astros)

In the first victory with his new team and the first complete game of his career, he hurled the fifth no-hitter of the season and number 291 in MLB. Fiers is the fifth pitcher to throw a no hit-no run game in the first 3 starts after being traded to a new team. It is the eleventh no-hitter in Astros' franchise history and the first in their current ballpark. Seven no-hitters have been lauched in Interleague games and Houston is the first to do it for both Leagues.

Chris Archer (Tampa Bay)

He threw a one-hit game in what was the third shutout of his career. He also reached 200 strikeouts for the season, and became the fourth pitcher in franchise history to register that mark in a season.

Became the fourth relief pitcher in MLB to reach 100+ strikeouts in consecutive years starting in his rookie season. He is only the second reliever of the Yankees to have multiple campaigns with 100+ punchouts.
